We believe God must be the central focus of all worship. The Bible provides the basic outline for how God desires to be worshipped when believers come together on the Lord’s Day; that is, through preaching of God’s Word, fellowship, the Lord’s Table, prayer, and singing. We believe the Bible emphasizes the greatness and holiness of God which should cause us to worship Him respectfully and reverently, to be balanced with the salvation and love of God which should cause us to worship joyfully and confidently!

About Mount Barker Gospel of Christ Fellowship in Mount Barker

We are a diverse group of believers passionate about God.
The purpose of the Gospel of Christ Fellowship is to glorify the
Triune God of the Bible through worship that is revealed as
acceptable to Him, by evangelizing sinners, and by edifying his saints.
Therefore, we are committed to the proclamation of God’s perfect
law and the glorious gospel of salvation by grace alone, through
faith alone, on account of Christ alone, and “to contend earnestly
for the faith which was once for all delivered unto the saints.”
Hence we hold to the absolute authority of Scripture, the centrality
of God, the primacy of preaching, the sovereignty of grace, the
regulative principle of worship, and the spirituality of the church.
Until our Lord returns may He find us faithful!
